Ellington’s Wine Bar, Bottle Shop & Rooftop is looking to expand its team. We’re continuing to grow and looking for individuals to help contribute and be a part of this process. We’re looking for people who are enthusiastic about discovering current wines, enjoy eating and talking about good food, and have a commitment to independent thinking. You have a do it all attitude and a desire to create a unique experience for everyone who walks through our door.

Ellington’s is a European-inspired neighbourhood bar located in the heart of Ballarat. It combines a bottle shop and rooftop with views onto Sturt Street. The bar offers premium, boutique and natural wines, as well as an A la carte menu paired with the extensive wines on offer. The business is independently owned and operated by locals who love discovering new wines and promoting the region’s best producers.





Open 5 days a week from mid afternoon until late.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Humble, self-motivated, and well presented
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly demeanor and professional manner
- Prior beverage handling experience (preferred)
- A general understanding of the wine industry (preferred)
- Abilty to build relationships with customers and contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Confident with using POS / Square systems
- Flexible availability
- Good at multitasking
- Current Victorian RSA & Food Handlers certificate
- Must have the right to work in Australia for this position

Pay: $26.44 – $44.88 per hour Expected hours: No more than 12.0 per week
