Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Location: Melbourne CBD

Day Rates: $65/Hour + super

Your new role:

The IT End User Computing & End User Services Operations Specialist is an entry-level technical role responsible for providing operational support for end-user technology and workplace services across MW.

Working as part of the End User Services team, this role supports the delivery, maintenance, and life cycle management of end-user devices, collaboration technologies, and workplace IT services. The role is designed to develop foundational skills in modern workplace technologies while ensuring employees receive reliable, secure, and responsive IT support.

What you'll need to succeed :

Manage the Service provider and ensure the following End User Computing services are being delivered:

- Configure, deploy, and support desktop and laptop computers.
- Maintain SOE images.
- Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot approved software applications.
- Assist with hardware refresh and technology replacement programmes.
- Support mobile devices, tablets, and peripheral equipment.
- Maintain asset records and life cycle information.

Manage the Service provider and ensure the following End User services are being delivered:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for end-user incidents and service requests.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including device provisioning and account setup.
- Assist users with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint,



and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Provide desk-side and remote support to staff across multiple locations.
- Escalate complex issues to senior technical specialists where required.

Manage the service provider and ensure the following Workplace Technology services:
- Support meeting room technology and audiovisual equipment.
- Assist with Microsoft Teams Rooms and video conferencing systems.
- Support digital displays, printers, scanners, docking stations, and collaboration devices.
- Coordinate repairs and replacements of workplace technology.

What you'll need to succeed

Skills and Experience:

Essential

- Basic understanding of Windows desktop operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
- Understanding of computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Familiarity with mobile devices and workplace technology.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.
- Robust organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.

Desirable:
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune.
- Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Exposure to Microsoft Teams administration.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow platform.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory.
- Knowledge of endpoint security solutions.
- Understanding of ITIL practices.

Qualifications:

Essential

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Desirable Certifications:
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- ITIL Foundation
