FIFO Engineering Surveyor. Perth. Full time $70-$90/hr + super + leave.
This is a permanent full-time role. The hourly rate is not a casual rate.
Construction set-out and as-constructed surveys on mining and civil jobs across WA. FIFO from Perth. 12-hour site days. Standard roster is 8:6. 2:2 and 2:1 are available where the job allows.
Noble Surveys works out of West Perth and Bunbury. Engineering, construction and mining survey. Small enough that you are not a number. Structured enough that Perth office backup is there when gear, data or a client call needs it.
The work
- Construction set-out and as-constructed surveys
- Topographic pickup for as-builts and volumes
- Drone and laser scanning where the job needs it
- End-of-month quantities and explicit records
- Direct contact with client site teams. You speak for the survey on the job
Sites are mining and civil construction across WA: Perth, Peel, South West, Pilbara, Goldfields and Mid West, depending on the project.
What you need
- Australian mine or civil construction site experience you can point to. One of those is enough. Overseas site time is not a substitute
- Diploma in Surveying or equivalent
- White Card and a current Australian driver's licence
- Able to run a day's work without someone standing over the instrument
- Trimble Access, Trimble kit, and AutoCAD or TBC help. Not a deal-breaker if you are strong on site and will learn our stack
- Drone, Riegl or scanning experience is a plus, not required
- Right to work in Australia
