As an Enrolled Nurse within the Acute Aged Care Unit,



you will work under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses to deliver safe, evidence-based care to patients. You will play a vital role in monitoring patients, assisting with clinical interventions, supporting activities of daily living, and contributing to effective care planning and discharge processes.

The Acute Aged Care

Unit provides specialised care for older adults experiencing acute illness, complex medical conditions, cognitive impairment, delirium, dementia, falls, and functional decline. The team is committed to maintaining dignity, independence, and quality of life for every patient.

What you will bring to the role

1. Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse Division 2 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA.
2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Acute Nursing.
3. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
5. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills including written and verbal.
6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
7. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
8. Ability to work a adaptable roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
