Duties & Responsibilities:

- Follow participant care plans, Positive Behaviour Support Plans and documented support strategies.
- Provide nursing and high-intensity supports in accordance with individual participant needs and your scope of practice.
- Provide mental health support and respond calmly and professionally to complex situations.
- Assist with personal care, medication administration and other relevant clinical support requirements.
- Support participants with daily activities including light domestic tasks, transport, meal preparation and companionship.
- Encourage participants to work towards greater independence and their individual goals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a stable, safe and positive care environment.
- Complete required documentation, including shift notes,



incident reports and relevant clinical records.
- Contribute to the development, review and evaluation of participant care plans.
- Build effective relationships with participants, families and other stakeholders.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide first aid when required.
- Apply a holistic approach to participant support incorporating both wellbeing and clinical considerations.

What You'll Bring

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions.
- Relevant nursing qualifications.
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including night duty and active or inactive sleepovers where required.
- Experience supporting people with complex health, mental health and/or disability support needs.
- Ideally 6-12 months' experience working with participants with complex health or mental health needs.
- Strong communication, technology and time-management skills.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card.
- Valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
