This is a succession planning and leadership development opportunity within the leadership team at Road Trains of Australia (RTA) based in Muchea WA. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Financial Controller, the successful candidate will gain valuable experience and mentoring while developing the skills required to progress into a senior leadership role. The role provides exposure to both financial and operational management across the business.
About the Opportunity The successful candidate will work across a broad range of commercial, operational and financial functions, including:
- Assisting with commercial and financial analysis
- Supporting contract negotiation and contract management activities
- Monitoring customer and supplier agreements and ensuring contractual obligations are met
- Identifying and pursuing recent business opportunities
- Assisting with tender preparation, submissions and presentations
- Supporting business improvement initiatives and strategic projects
- Developing stakeholder relationships with clients, suppliers and industry partners
- Working alongside senior leaders to gain a thorough understanding of RTA's operations and business objectives
About you We are seeking a motivated individual who demonstrates:

- Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, Economics or a related discipline (preferred)
- Experience in financial analysis, commercial management, business development, tendering or operational management (preferred)
