We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Sydney. You will manage day-to-day financial transactions, process payroll, and ensure our accounts are accurate and up to date. You will work closely with our management team and external accountants.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process day to day branch expenses.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit cards.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
- Manage payroll, superannuation, and single touch payroll (STP) compliance.
- Maintain clean and orderly financial records.
- Assist with month-end reporting and financial summaries.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper in Australia.
- Knowledge of Tencia accounting software a benefit.
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (preferred).
- Solid understanding of GST, PAYG, and Australian tax compliance.
- Great attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
