This position is available on either a part-time or full-time basis for the right candidate. The role is primarily office-based in Dandenong, with the opportunity for some work-from-home flexibility once established in the role. You will manage bookkeeping and payroll responsibilities for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries while working closely with our experienced team.
Key responsibilities
- End-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing payroll and payroll compliance
- Processing superannuation and payroll reporting
- Managing clients using Employment Hero Payroll
- BAS preparation assistance and maintaining accurate financial records
- Coding transactions and understanding Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts
- Liaising with clients and responding to bookkeeping enquiries
- Assisting with month-end bookkeeping processes
About you
- Previous bookkeeping experience (experience within an accounting or bookkeeping firm is highly regarded)
- Strong Employment Hero Payroll experience
- QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience
- Experience using Xero and MYOB
- Excellent payroll knowledge, including awards, superannuation and STP
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise work, multitask and work independently
