As we plan for upcoming projects, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Demolition Supervisors interested in future opportunities with Liberty Industrial.

This is an Expression of Interest for anticipated future requirements and is not an advertisement for a current vacancy. Upcoming opportunities are expected to include projects in remote locations across Australia, so candidates should be willing and able to work FIFO rosters, typically 2 weeks on / 1 week off.

About the opportunity

Our Demolition Supervisors play a key role in the safe and productive delivery of our projects, providing hands-on leadership to our workforce and subcontractors and ensuring work is carried out in accordance with project requirements, company procedures and HSEQ standards.

We are particularly interested in hearing from supervisors with previous experience across heavy industrial demolition, decommissioning, remediation or related civil works. A Schedule 26 (S26) Statutory Supervisor qualification is highly regarded.

Typical responsibilities may include:

- Leading and coordinating site crews and subcontractors to deliver work safely and productively.
- Conducting pre-start meetings, allocating tasks and communicating daily work requirements and potential challenges.
- Maintaining a strong field presence and actively engaging with the workforce.
- Ensuring compliance with project safety requirements, procedures and site management plans.
- Conducting toolbox talks, site inductions, safety briefings and behavioural observations.
- Supporting hazard identification,



incident reporting and implementation of preventative measures.
- Working closely with Project Managers, HSEQ personnel and other members of the site management team.
- Ensuring plant and equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with required standards.
- Providing practical, hands-on leadership and setting clear expectations for safety, quality and performance.

About you Ideally, you will bring:

- Demonstrated supervisory experience within heavy industrial demolition, decommissioning, large-scale remediation or similar project environments.
- Experience leading and directing employees and subcontract labour teams safely and productively.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements within a project environment.
- A practical, hands-on leadership style with strong communication and people skills.
- The ability to build effective working relationships and set clear performance expectations.
- Willingness to work FIFO on remote projects across Australia.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Schedule 26 (S26) Statutory Supervisor qualification – highly regarded.
- Certificate III or IV in Demolition or a nationally recognised Demolition Supervisor skill set – desirable.
