Veterans and First Nations People | Multiple Locations
Bullroarers is building a casual talent pool of people who can support upcoming client engagements, workshops, events, mentoring activities and other project-based work across Australia.
We particularly encourage applications from veterans, and First Nations people, with a strong focus on creating opportunities for people who bring lived experience, community understanding and the ability to confidently represent Bullroarers with our clients and partners.
Locations
We are currently seeking people who are already based in:
- Darwin
- Brisbane
- Melbourne
- Sydney
Our immediate resourcing requirements include opportunities in Brisbane on 7 October, Melbourne on 15 October, and Melbourne from 17 to 28 November, with additional casual engagements expected as current Bullroarers work becomes available.
What could the work involve?
Depending on the engagement, casual opportunities may include:
- Supporting Bullroarers at client events, workshops and engagement activities
- Assisting with the delivery of client programs and initiatives
- Representing Bullroarers professionally with clients, partners and communities
- Building relationships with participants and stakeholders
- Supporting business and community engagement activities
- Coaching and mentoring
- Providing insights and feedback that help Bullroarers better understand client programs and identify opportunities for future collaboration
Who are we looking for?
We are interested in hearing from people who:
- Are veterans, First Nations people or both
- Are already located in one of the nominated locations
- Are interested in flexible, casual and project-based work
- Are confident engaging with people from different backgrounds and levels of seniority
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Can professionally represent Bullroarers and our values
- Are interested in contributing to meaningful client and community initiatives
Experience in Defence, government, community engagement, facilitation, mentoring, coaching, stakeholder engagement or program delivery would be valuable, but we also want to hear from people with relevant lived experience and transferable skills.
