About The Role Operating within Facilities Management (NSW), the Facilities Manager NSW Campuses will provide a full range of facilities management services for ACU's North Sydney, Strathfield and Blacktown campuses while delivering operational support to the Canberra campus (as required) to maintain continuity of campus operations during leave, vacancies, projects and periods of increased demand. The position will work across the NSW university sites in response to operational priorities and lead the Facilities Services Officers providing functional leadership, guidance and workload coordination to promote consistent facilities services, operational standards, compliance practices and customer service outcomes.

The Facilities

Manager oversees day to day campus operations including planning, scheduling and coordination of property related services, maintenance activities and projects, regularly inspects and assesses the built environment and operating systems including building management systems, and coordinates appropriate rectification to support campus safety, compliance and business continuity. The role builds and maintains productive relationships with university staff, internal and external stakeholders, contractors and service providers. Also, this position contributes to the standardisation and continuous improvement of facilities management practices and supports the effective deployment of resources across campuses in response to changing operational requirements.

The Facilities Manager will need to be contactable outside normal working hours in the event of an emergency or situation of immediate risk to students, staff or university property.



If attendance on campus or remote management of an incident is required outside of working hours overtime provisions may apply in accordance with the ACU Enterprise Agreement.

- Total remuneration valued to $124,509 - $134,699 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $105,212 - $113,823 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
