A mechanical services business is opening a new sheetmetal facility in Perth and needs factory hands on the floor. No trade required.
This is a new shop. The plant is current, the team is being built from scratch, and there is a full production programme behind it rather than a short project. Permanent, local, and home every night.
What you would be doing:
Assisting the fabricators on the bench and around the machines
Materials handling, moving sheet and finished ductwork around the shop
Deburring, linishing and cleaning up parts
Packing, labelling and getting orders ready to go out
Keeping the shop and the racking tidy and in order
Working to WHS requirements
What we are looking for
Reliability, and turning up when you say you will
Willingness to learn and to be shown the right way
Comfortable on your feet and doing physical work
Construction White Card The right to work in Australia on an ongoing basis
You do not need sheetmetal experience. If you have worked in a factory, a workshop, a warehouse or a yard and you want to get into the trade side, this is a way in. The people who do well here will be trained on the machines.
These roles start in January 2027 for full production.
Pay is $32 to $38 an hour plus superannuation, depending on experience.
If you want to know more, call Chris on 0468 063 857 or apply here and we will come back to you.
Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 per week
