Kilcoolin Holdings is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to join our team in Euroa, VIC 3666. This is a full time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and oversee all operational aspects of our farming enterprise.

As Farm

Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, day-to-day management, and continuous improvement of our farming operations. This role is critical to the success of our business, requiring a skilled professional who can manage resources effectively, maintain high standards of productivity, and ensure sustainable farming practices.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all day-to-day farming operations, including crop management, livestock husbandry, and pasture maintenance
- Develop and implement farm management plans that optimise productivity and profitability whilst maintaining environmental sustainability
- Manage and supervise farm staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Monitor and maintain farm equipment and infrastructure, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs
- Plan and execute seasonal farming activities, from planting and harvesting to animal breeding and veterinary care
- Manage farm budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial reports to support business decision-making
- Maintain accurate records of production, livestock health, chemical applications, and regulatory compliance
- Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all staff
- Liaise with suppliers,



veterinarians, agronomists, and other external partners to support farming operations
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and recommend new farming technologies or practices

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in farm management or a similar senior agricultural role
- Strong knowledge of crop production, livestock management, or both, depending on the farm's focus
- Proven experience in budget management, financial planning, and farm profitability analysis
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Sound knowledge of agricultural best practices, sustainability principles, and environmental compliance
- Proficiency with farm management software and computer systems
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to operate farm machinery and equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Relevant agricultural qualifications or certifications (e.g., Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent) are highly desirable
