True Embrace is a Sydney-based NDIS provider supporting people to live the life they want. We are a small, hands-on team, which means you will know the directors by name and never be a number on a roster.
About the role
We are looking for female support workers based in or near Hornsby and the Northern Beaches, on a casual basis. Shifts are local, so you are not spending half your day driving. We work around your availability rather than the other way around.
What you will be doing
- Personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming
- Supporting daily living tasks such as meal preparation and household duties
- Community access, getting out to appointments, social outings and activities
- Building genuine rapport and supporting participants to work towards their goals
- Writing transparent shift notes at the end of each shift
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in people and a patient, respectful approach
- Reliability. Our participants depend on their supports turning up
- Calm, patient, and engaging personality
- Ability to adapt between different participants and routines
Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
