Outstanding Southern Mining Limited (ASX: GSN) is gold exploration company looking to undertake substantial drilling programs across its gold asset portfolio in the Duketon Greenstone Belt, north of Laverton, Western Australia.

The company is seeking a field assistant to join the team and deliver project-based outcomes on its WA Projects.

Reporting to the senior geologist on site, key responsibilities will include:

- Drill sampling and sample processing.
- Preparation of drilling pads.
- Managing and liaising with contracts.
- Site clean-ups.
- Soil sampling.
- Rehabilitation.
- Vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety in accordance with company policies and workplace safety and environmental regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with team members and consultants/contractors on site.
- Sound knowledge of safety requirements relevant to exploration, and statutory appointments.
- Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- A positive and constructive attitude and the ability to thrive in a close-knit team environment.
- Strong commitment to natural and cultural heritage identification and protection.

The role is FIFO from Perth to Laverton, WA on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster.



Accommodation is in Laverton with the Company maintained a field office and base of operations in Laverton. The projects are half to one hours drive from town.

About you:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferable.
- Able to pass a medical and drug screen.
- Able to pass a national police clearance.
- Full C-class manual drivers licence.
- First Aid training and 4WD training desirable.
- Data entry skills essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
