Lin's Flooring Pty Ltd is a Brisbane-based flooring company specialising in the supply and installation of timber, hybrid and vinyl flooring for residential and commercial projects. We are looking for an experienced Floor Finisher/Flooring Installer to join our growing team.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect and prepare subfloors, including cleaning, grinding, repairing and levelling surfaces.
- Measure, cut and install timber, hybrid, laminate and vinyl flooring.
- Install underlay, skirting boards, trims, transitions and mouldings.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn flooring.
- Read plans, take measurements and estimate required materials.
- Install flooring in accordance with manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite and comply with WHS requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors, builders and clients to complete projects within required timeframes.
About you
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in flooring installation and/or floor finishing.
- Experience with engineered timber flooring and herringbone installation is highly regarded.
- Experience in subfloor preparation and installation of timber, hybrid/laminate and vinyl flooring.
- Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety.
- White Card and current driver's licence preferred.
