About the role

Garro Civil & Mining Services (GCMS) is expanding its specialist structural workforce across major construction, resources, civil and mining projects throughout Western Australia. We are looking for experienced operators who know structural concrete — particularly people with strong experience in RMD shuttering, vertical structures, crushers, mills and mining/process infrastructure. This is an opportunity to become part of the core GCMS structural workforce as we continue to expand across major WA projects.

Key responsibilities

- Formwork carpentry and shuttering work, particularly RMD systems
- Work on vertical concrete structures
- Work on crusher and mill structures
- Work on mining and process plant concrete
- Construct walls, columns and suspended structures
- Work on heavy foundations, plinths and pedestals
- Complete Form-Reo-Pour packages
- Read and work from structural drawings
- Work on large-scale resources, infrastructure, civil or commercial projects
- For Leading Hands and Supervisors: lead tradespeople, plan works, read drawings, coordinate crews, drive productivity and maintain high safety and quality standards

About you

- Demonstrated experience with RMD formwork and shuttering
- Demonstrated experience with vertical concrete structures
- Demonstrated experience with crusher and mill structures
- Demonstrated experience with mining and process plant concrete




- Demonstrated experience with walls, columns and suspended structures
- Demonstrated experience with heavy foundations, plinths and pedestals
- Demonstrated experience with Form-Reo-Pour packages
- Ability to read and work from structural drawings
- Experience on large-scale resources, infrastructure, civil or commercial projects
- Australian working rights, Construction White Card, relevant trade qualifications or demonstrated experience, current driver's licence, relevant tickets and competencies, ability to meet project-specific medical and drug & alcohol requirements, contactable references
