St Matthew’s Anglican School is situated approximately 53km north of the Perth CBD, in one of the fastest growing regions of WA. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Education Assistants to join our team from January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new Anglican school in Yanchep, joining the foundation staff as we establish a vibrant learning community.

About the role

Education Assistants will support student learning, engagement, and wellbeing across a range of year levels from Kindergarten to Year 6, working closely with classroom teachers and school leadership.

Key responsibilities

- Support teaching and learning programs within the classroom
- Work with individual students and small groups to enhance learning outcomes
- Assist students with diverse learning, behavioural, social, and emotional needs
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and members of the school community
- Support the mission and values of AngliSchools

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in School Based Education Support
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children in a primary school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Current Working with Children Check

Desirable Requirements

- Certificate IV in School Based Education Support
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs
