Our client has been an established Queensland manufacturer supplying timber frame and trusses to the custom and project builder, medium-density and commercial construction sectors.

The Role
Based in inner North Brisbane, you will lead approximately 30 people across Production, Scheduling, Estimating and Detailing.
You will be responsible for daily manufacturing performance, team development, workflow coordination, customer commitments and continuous improvement. You will also help lead a significant software and process transition across the operation.
This permanent position works Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm and offers a base salary of up to $160,000 plus superannuation, a company vehicle and an incentive structure.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop teams across four operational departments.
- Deliver production schedules, quality standards, customer commitments and operational KPIs.
- Optimise manufacturing capacity, labour utilisation and production flow.
- Improve coordination between sales, scheduling, detailing and production.
- Lead continuous improvement,
systems implementation and organisational change.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, P&L; performance and manufacturing costs.
- Maintain WHS, engineering and quality-assurance standards.
Skills, Experience & Characteristics Required
You will be an experienced Manufacturing, Operations, Production or Site Manager with strong people leadership and commercial capabilities.
You will bring:
- Senior operational leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- A strong production background, ideally in frame and truss, timber, prefabrication, building products or construction manufacturing.
- Experience managing multiple operational or technical functions.
- Proven success improving productivity, accountability and team performance.
- Experience with budgets, labour planning, manufacturing costs and performance reporting.
- Strong planning, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
