We are seeking a talented and driven Project Engineer to join a specialist consultancy delivering high voltage (HV) and data centre infrastructure projects for some of Australia's leading digital infrastructure and utility clients. Responsibilities

n

As a Project Engineer, you will:

n

- Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support across live HV and data centre construction projects.
n
- Collaborate with the construction and delivery teams on switchboard and power systems scope, from design review through to installation and testing.
n
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the client's technical team to ensure works are completed on schedule and meet specifications.
n
- Support HV testing and commissioning activities, including documentation and quality sign-off.
n
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements, identifying risks or clashes early.
n
- Contribute to progress reporting, technical queries, and change management on-site.
n
- Champion safety and quality standards across all engineering activities.

Qualifications

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n




- Solid experience working with high voltage electrical systems.
n
- A strong electrical engineering background, with hands‐on exposure to switchboards and power systems.
n
- Construction project experience, particularly in mining, industrial, or heavy infrastructure environments (highly valued).
n
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to work directly with construction, project, and commissioning teams.
n
- Exposure to data centre projects (preferred but not essential). A strong technical foundation and the drive to grow are what matter most.
