About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Full Time Early Childhood Educators with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care to join our team at Explorers Learning Academy in Mittagong, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children whilst working in a supportive, collaborative setting. You will be responsible for delivering quality early childhood education and care that promotes children's learning, development and wellbeing in accordance with the National Quality Framework and curriculum guidelines.

What You'll Be Doing

- Planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities and experiences that support children's cognitive, physical, emotional and social development
- Creating and maintaining safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environments for children in your care
- Providing direct care and supervision to children including feeding, hygiene and routine activities
- Observing and assessing children's development and progress, documenting learning through portfolios and reports
- Building positive relationships with children and families, fostering open communication and collaboration with parents/carers
- Implementing behaviour guidance strategies that are positive, respectful and developmentally appropriate
- Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through team collaboration, reflective practice and professional development




- Supporting inclusion and diversity by meeting the individual needs of all children in the service

What We're Looking For

- Essential qualification: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain these qualifications
- Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and early childhood learning frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
- Passion for early childhood education and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Flexibility, patience and resilience in a fast-paced early childhood environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining current knowledge of best practice in early childhood education
- Preferred: Experience working in early childhood education settings or relevant childcare experience
