Located on the edge of the beautiful Matilda Bay in Crawley, our elegant, wood-lined restaurant overlooks the bay with stunning views of Kings Park and Perth City. We serve Modern Australian fish dishes and hearty grills in a workplace where the scenery is as impressive as the dining experience.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Functions Duty Manager to take the lead on all events held at the venue. You will work closely with the Head Of Events and play a key role in ensuring every event runs smoothly from set-up to pack-down.

This role is hands-on and focused on floor operations, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being involved in the action, and is flexible to work across other Front of House areas, including the restaurant and bar, when required to support the overall operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Overseeing and running all functions, including weddings, corporate events and social gatherings
- Coordinating room set-ups and pack-downs
- Taking ownership of floor operations and continuously looking for ways to improve processes and service




- Leading and supporting the FOH team during events
- Delivering staff briefings and providing guidance during service
- Liaising with the kitchen and operations teams to ensure smooth event flow
- Maintaining transparent and accurate communication about bookings and event details
- Working restaurant and bar shifts as needed to provide support
- Ensuring all WHS procedures, checks and reporting requirements are completed

What We’re Looking For

- Experience running functions/events with a level of seniority (e.g. Supervisor or Duty Manager level)
- Confident leading a team and coordinating busy event operations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Willingness and ability to work across Front of House areas, including restaurant and bar, as required.
- Availability to work weekends and late nights
