PROACT Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Gardener to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable, can work independently and enjoys being part of a hands-on team. Our work is varied, so no two days are necessarily the same.
About the role
You’ll be working across a range of commercial properties and sites throughout Canberra, carrying out landscaping, grounds maintenance and general outdoor works.
Your day-to-day work may include:
- General landscaping and garden maintenance
- Lawn care, mowing, edging and trimming
- Planting, mulching and garden bed maintenance
- Pruning and hedging
- Irrigation maintenance and minor repairs
- Weed and pest management
- Soft and hard landscaping works
- Site clean-ups and presentation
- Identifying maintenance issues and recommending solutions
- Assisting the wider PROACT team with general facilities and maintenance works when required
About you We’re looking for someone with previous experience who is practical, reliable and comfortable getting in and getting the job done.
Ideally, you’ll have a good knowledge of landscaping/gardener tools and equipment, with experience safely operating commercial landscaping equipment and power tools. You’ll have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Relevant landscaping or horticultural qualifications would be highly regarded, however practical experience, a strong work ethic and the right attitude are just as important to us.
