We're currently partnering with a leading enterprise organisation undertaking a large-scale cloud transformation program and are seeking experienced GCP Cloud Engineers to support the design, delivery and optimisation of cloud-native platforms and services.
This is an chance to work on complex, business-critical environments, helping build secure, scalable and automated solutions leveraging modern Google Cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and platform services
- Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation frameworks
- Implement cloud security, governance and operational best practices
- Support containerised workloads using Kubernetes (GKE)
- Monitor and improve platform reliability, performance and scalability
- Collaborate with development, architecture and security teams to deliver cloud-native solutions
Skills & Experience We're keen to speak with contractors who have experience across:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer within GCP environments
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- CI/CD tooling including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Cloud Build
- Cloud networking, IAM and security controls
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus or Grafana
- Python, Bash or Go scripting
- Container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Australian working rights
