About the chance

Altrad Australia is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead the strategic growth, commercial performance and operational delivery of our Western Coast Maintenance business.

Based from our Subiaco office and reporting to the EGM – West, this is a significant appointment with responsibility across Resources, Energy — onshore and offshore projects throughout Western Australia.

The successful candidate will take overall accountability for the sustainable growth, profitability and operational performance of the Maintenance West portfolio. This includes providing strategic direction across a diverse contract portfolio, strengthening key client partnerships, identifying new market opportunities and building the organisational capability required to support long-term growth.

With a strong commercial and operational mandate, you will work closely with Altrad's broader leadership team to shape business strategy, drive market expansion and ensure the division consistently delivers exceptional outcomes across safety, service, client satisfaction and financial performance.

You will be responsible for:

- Setting the strategic direction and growth agenda for Maintenance West
- Driving sustainable revenue growth, profitability and market expansion
- Leading a diverse portfolio across Resources and Energy
- Building and strengthening relationships with key clients and senior stakeholders
- Identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities




- Providing executive oversight of operational and contract performance
- Driving commercial discipline, financial performance and risk management
- Developing high-performing leaders and strengthening organisational capability
- Embedding a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Maintaining outstanding HSEQ performance across the division
- Working collaboratively across Altrad's executive and functional leadership teams to deliver the broader business strategy

This is an opportunity for an established maintenance or industrial services executive to take ownership of a strategically important business, influence its direction and make a meaningful impact across some of Western Australia's most significant industries.

About you

You will be an established senior executive with substantial experience leading complex maintenance, industrial services or engineering businesses and a proven track record of delivering profitable growth and operational excellence.

You will bring

- Extensive senior leadership experience within the maintenance or industrial services sector
- A strong commercial track record with P&L; and financial accountability
- Demonstrated success growing and diversifying a business or portfolio
- Deep understanding of the WA Resources and/or Energy sectors
- Established relationships and credibility with major clients and stakeholders
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and senior operational leaders
- The ability to operate confidently with C-suite and executive stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to drive execution
- A proven record in winning, retaining and expanding major contracts
- The leadership capability to build high-performing teams and develop future leaders
- The resilience and adaptability to lead through growth, change and complexity
