Due to growth, an excellent opportunity exists for a Junior/Graduate Accountant to join our firm in business services and taxation division. Reporting to the client manager & the director, you will be working independently and be responsible for the tax compliance of a portfolio of clients. In addition, you will be involved in tax planning, research of various taxation issues as well providing assistance to other accountants.

The role requires

- Processing/reconciling bank accounts, payroll & superannuation for small to medium businesses
- Assisting clients with their XERO/MYOB/Quickbooks bookkeeping
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Preparation of Annual tax return and financial accounts including Profit & Loss, Balance sheet, Notes to financial statements for Self Managed Superfunds, Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies.
- Preparation of outgoing client correspondence and other documents for internal use
- Telephone contact with the ATO




- Assisting client manager/director with Preparation of Management accounts,

Budgets/Forecasts/Variance analysis where required
- Preparation of tax planning report for clients
- Assisting director with other ad hoc consulting work such as business plan, due diligence/appraisal and property tax and development consulting work.

To be successful for this position, you will have:
- Up to 12 month professional practice experience gained within a business services/tax environment in

Australia.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Exceptional organisation skills, have the ability to prioritise work and be able to hit the ground running
- Positive and “can do” attitude
- Knowledge of XERO Tax, XERO Accounting ledger, Xero XPM (Practice management software for accounting firms) would be an advantage.
- Bachelor Degree (or near ) in Accounting/Finance/Business with good marks.
- Willingness to travel where required
- Strong Vietnamese skills would be advantageous In return you will get:
