Working alongside the Grounds & Maintenance team at Woodstock Wine Estate, you will assist with the ongoing presentation and upkeep of the property. This is a practical, physical role with plenty of variety and an opportunity to develop a broad range of property, grounds and general maintenance skills.
Key responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and general yard maintenance
- Assisting with gardening, pruning, weeding and landscaping
- Watering duties, particularly during summer
- General cleaning and upkeep of outdoor areas
- Assisting with minor repairs and general property maintenance
- Safe operation and care of mowers, whipper snippers and other grounds equipment
- Assisting with basic power tool and hand tool work
- Manual handling tasks as required
- Setting up and packing down equipment across the venue as required
- Assisting across the wider property when required
About you
- Physically capable,
energetic and comfortable with hands-on work
- Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck into a job
- Keen to learn a variety of practical skills
- A strong communicator with valuable spoken English
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Experienced with basic grounds equipment such as lawn mowers and whipper snippers
- Familiar with basic hand and power tools, or genuinely keen to learn
- Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
- Available during the week with some weekend and public holiday availability when required
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
