About the Role
This position contributes to both the delivery and ongoing development of endED's participant-facing programs. You will support group facilitation, coordinate program resources, contribute to clinical governance activities, and assist with operational systems.
The role would suit someone who is highly organised, compassionate, and able to balance person-centred care with administration, compliance, and service development responsibilities.
What You'll Be Doing
Program Facilitation & Coordination
- Co-facilitate recovery-oriented group programs that foster connection, engagement, and meaningful discussion.
- Coordinate participant resources and program documentation.
- Develop and maintain program materials, including participant workbooks, guides, and supporting resources.
- Support multidisciplinary collaboration by participating in regular case conferencing and providing team updates regarding participant engagement and program outcomes.
- Assist with the ongoing evaluation and improvement of participant programs.
Clinical Governance & Quality Support
- Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to deliver specialist eating disorder treatment and recovery services.
- Maintain accurate records and support health information compliance requirements within our practice management systems.
- Assist with care planning and participant support processes in collaboration with clinicians, carers, families, and external service providers.
- Contribute to the development of participant policies, guidelines, and accessible resources.
Operations & Systems
- Assist with the development and maintenance of organisational policies, procedures, and operational resources.
- Monitor and update compliance tracking systems and registers.
- Support continuous improvement activities across the organisation.
- Build and maintain internal communication systems,
including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Develop participant communications, accessibility resources, surveys, and feedback tools.
- Help ensure our operational systems support a positive, efficient experience for participants, carers, and endED team members.
Essential Requirements
You will
- Hold and maintain a current Queensland Driver Licence, Blue Card, and National Police Check.
- Hold relevant qualifications and/or experience in allied health, mental health, community services, peer work, or a related health field.
- Have recovered from an eating disorder for a minimum of three years (if applying from a lived experience perspective).
- Be able to work within qualified, ethical, and recovery-oriented practice frameworks, including maintaining appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, and alignment with NEDC Practice Standards.
- Demonstrate understanding of eating disorders, body image concerns, disordered eating, and their impact on individuals, families, carers, and support networks.
- Be confident using Microsoft platforms (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook) and have demonstrated experience with practice management and client record systems (e.g. Splose, Halaxy).
Desirable:
- Personal lived experience of eating disorder recovery or supporting someone through an eating disorder.
- Previous experience providing peer support, group facilitation, or recovery-oriented services.
- Previous experience in a not-for-profit, community health, or mental health setting.
- Mental Health First Aid, Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work, EDQ Mentor Training, CCI Eating Disorder Coaching,
or a willingness to undertake relevant professional development.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
