Dulcèt Hairdressing is a beautiful salon located in Berserker, Rockhampton, with a team of eight who genuinely care about what we do and, more importantly, about the people we work alongside.

We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, professional and welcoming environment where our clients receive a luxury experience with a homely feel. We believe great hairdressing is about more than just the finished result. It is about knowledge, genuine connection, kindness and making every client feel cared for.

We use some of the best products our industry has to offer and place a strong focus on ongoing education and development. We regularly attend education and encourage every team member to grow in the areas they are passionate about, while also building confidence in the areas they may not feel as strong in yet. You will have a supportive team leader who is passionate about helping our team achieve their goals, both professionally and personally. We have regular one-on-one coaching sessions focused on developing your column, growing your client base, building confidence and creating opportunities to increase your earning potential through commissions.

We as a buisness pride ourselfs on being approachable, available and willing to help. We want our team to feel that they have someone in their corner and that they don't have to navigate challenges alone. We are a hair family, and I genuinely want to see each person in our team succeed.

We are flexible with many things, but there are a few qualities that are important to us.

You need to have a genuine passion for hairdressing and a desire to keep learning and developing your skills. You need to care about your clients, take pride in providing exceptional service and understand that the way we make people feel is just as important as the hair we create.

You need to be kind, compassionate, reliable and willing to support the people around you.

And importantly, we leave the drama at the door. This is a non-negotiable. We are a close team, and we want our salon to be a positive place where people feel safe, respected and supported. We celebrate each other's wins, help each other through challenges and expect everyone to contribute positively to our team culture.

Where this prospect can take you

We currently have permanent part-time, casual and full-time opportunities available, and we are open to creating the right arrangement for the right person.

There is also the opportunity for the right candidate to eventually step into a Salon Manager position, working alongside and supporting the salon owner with the day-to-day running of the salon, team goals, education, client experience and continued salon growth.
