The Role Reporting to the CEO, this role provides strategic and operational leadership across financial management, planning, reporting, compliance and organisational performance. You will work closely with the CEO, Board and senior leaders to support sound decision-making and the long-term financial sustainability of Scouts SA.

As Head of Finance, you will lead the finance function, oversee financial strategy and performance, and provide transparent, practical insights to support organisational priorities. The role also includes investment oversight, budgeting and forecasting, financial controls, commercial evaluation and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes.





You will lead and develop the finance team while building strong relationships across the organisation, including with the Board and its committees.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you You will be a confident finance leader with strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial information into meaningful advice and insight.

You will bring

- Accounting qualifications and CA, CPA or equivalent
- Significant financial leadership experience
- Strong financial management, reporting, compliance and governance capability
- Experience supporting strategic and organisational decision-making
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to operate effectively in a complex organisation.

Experience in a not-for-profit, commercial or mixed-revenue environment will be highly regarded. Why Scouts SA?
