About the Role

Head of Marketing Up to $150,000 + super + ESOP opportunity Sydney City | Four days in the office, one day from home Permanent full-time position Are you ready to take complete ownership of a marketing function and build it your way? You will work directly with the leadership team to develop the marketing strategy, strengthen the brand and establish the systems, partnerships and internal capability needed to support continued growth. This is not a role where you will inherit a large team, established playbook or layers of approval.

You will have the freedom to decide what needs to happen, then roll up your sleeves and make it happen.

Responsibilities

- There is plenty to get stuck into from day one.
- You will develop the overarching marketing strategy, lead an significant product launch and coordinate the campaigns, events and external partners supporting it.
- You will also assess the company’s current digital presence, content and sales collateral before determining where investment will have the greatest impact. This could include appointing specialist agencies across SEO, SEM, design and creative services.
- Once you have established the strategy and immediate priorities, you will have the opportunity to hire a Marketing Coordinator and begin building the internal function around you.

Responsibilities





- Creating and delivering the overall marketing strategy
- Developing clear brand positioning and go-to-market plans
- Leading upcoming product and service launches

- Planning integrated campaigns, events and customer initiatives
- Building a consistent lead-generation and demand-generation engine
- Selecting and managing digital, creative and specialist agency partners

- Reviewing and improving existing marketing and sales collateral
- Managing HubSpot, marketing automation, reporting and attribution
- Taking ownership of the marketing budget and associated P&L;

- Establishing practical measures of performance and return on investment
- Recruiting and managing a Marketing Coordinator
- Working closely with leadership across sales, product and customer experience

Qualifications You may already be operating as a Head of Marketing within a startup or growing SME, or you could be a strong Marketing Manager ready to take the next step. What matters most is that you can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Required Skills

- Broad B2B marketing experience across strategy and execution
- Experience in a startup, scale-up, SME or similarly agile environment
- Strong product marketing and go-to-market capability
- Experience leading product, platform or service launches




- A working knowledge of HubSpot and marketing automation
- Experience selecting and managing agencies and creative partners
- Commercial confidence across budgets, reporting and ROI
- The ability to turn ambitious ideas into clear, achievable plans
- The confidence to influence founders and senior business leaders
- An adaptable approach when priorities or commercial needs change

- Salary up to $150,000 + super
