The Person We Are Looking For We are looking for more than someone who can simply manage the day-to-day operation of a School.
LIHE is growing, and we need an academic leader who can help us build a strong foundation for that growth. The successful candidate should be willing to identify gaps, improve processes, develop academic staff and take ownership of academic quality across the School.
The person should be comfortable working in a relatively young and ambitious institution where there is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to its future direction.
Importantly, we are a student-focused institution. We expect our academic leadership team to be visible and accessible to both students and staff and to actively contribute to creating a supportive and conducive learning environment.
The successful candidate should share LIHE's vision of “Education for All” and our commitment to providing accessible, inclusive and high-quality higher education.
Why Join LIHE?
This is an opportunity to join LIHE at an important stage of its development and play a key role in shaping the future of the School of Business and Digital Technologies.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to contribute directly to:
- the growth and development of the School;
- new course development and accreditation;
- academic governance and institutional quality;
- TEQSA re-registration and future regulatory initiatives;
- development and mentoring of academic staff;
- strengthening industry and professional engagement; and
- LIHE's longer-term growth and strategic direction.
For the right person, this is an opportunity to build and lead, rather than simply inherit an established School.
