We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking HSE Business Partner to join our team based at Brisbane Airport. This is an opportunity to play a critical role within a complex operational environment where safety, reliability and performance are fundamental to our success.

Reporting to the Head of HSE, you will partner closely with operational leaders, project teams and frontline employees to strengthen safety leadership, manage critical risks and drive continuous improvement across our airport operations.

This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. We are looking for a highly proactive and energetic professional who takes initiative, works effectively with minimal supervision and isn't afraid to challenge traditional thinking to deliver better safety outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

- Partnering with leaders to build strong safety cultures and accountable leadership
- Driving risk management, critical control verification and operational assurance activities
- Leading investigations, identifying trends and implementing meaningful corrective actions
- Supporting audits, compliance obligations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Influencing and coaching leaders to make risk-informed decisions
- Helping shape innovative and practical approaches to health, safety and environmental management

Essential Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or higher qualification in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an HSE role within operational, engineering, industrial, maintenance,



construction or similar environments
- Experience conducting investigations and supporting risk assessments
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles
- Experience working within ISO-based management systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC and pass a police check

- ICAM Lead Investigator qualification
- Lead Auditor qualification
- Experience within airports, logistics, automation, industrial or maintenance environments
- Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
- Experience with contractor management and critical risk programs
