My client is an Australian Transport & Logistics company with a growing presence across the country. Due to an internal promotion they are looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to the Rail team in West Melbourne Dock Facility. This is a temp to perm prospect for someone with a positive attitude & a team player.

- Monday to Friday - 7am to 3pm
n
- Processing drivers for both inbound and outbound containers
n
- Co-ordinating container locations with stackers
n
- Locating containers in terminal (when required)
n
- Creating orders for train services (inbound)
n
- Reefer monitoring & updating reefer file
n
- Booking dehires into erail
n
- Oversee exports leaving terminal (export lists)
n
- Creating empty container pick ups (when required)
n




- Using systems such as tms / one stop and maximus
n
- Liaising with customers on a daily basis regarding imports / exports and any other requirements
n
- Assist operations manager as needed.
n
- You must have your own transportation
n

You will have 1-2 years in a similar role, ideally in transport & logistics. You will be well organised and able to multi-task, and have a cheery nature with a flair for communication. You must be well versed both written and speaking in English. They are very much a team environment and training will be provided.
