Job Description

The Company

- You will be joining a mid-tier builder that has been operating in the Australian market for over 60 years.

Position
n
n
- Reporting to a Construction Manager and Site Manager locally, you will help oversee the completion of the project through to handover.
n
- This is a 2IC role that will suit someone who is able to work collaboratively within a team but still enjoys managing sites independently.
n
- The program has has six months to run, after which the work will be either in the Northern Rivers or North Coast region.
n
- Scopes will typically include heavy refurbishment works to existing premises in live environments, with some new build elements.
n
- Sites may remain operational throughout the build, so the successful candidate will understand how to operate safely in a live environment and effectively manage site safety.
n
- The Project Management team will be based in Sydney and provide full administration support for the project.
n
- This is a full-time role with ongoing work following the completion of this project. Being a regional builder, projects may sometimes be 1–3 hours from home.
n
- In this event, all accommodation, travel and living expenses will be covered.
n
- Discretionary bonuses are offered for successfully delivered projects.
n
n
Salary will be $155K–$165K package, which includes a fully maintained UTE.

Background / Experience
n
n
- Trade background with an additional tertiary building qualification advantageous.
n
- Demonstrated ability to have independently delivered projects in excess of $2M or worked as a Supervisor on projects valued at $5M–$10M+.
n
- Experience working on refurbishment projects within the commercial or education sectors.
n
- Ability to build relationships and manage personnel to operate cohesively within a team environment.
n
- Strong technical, planning and programming skills.
n
- Extensive knowledge of logistical planning in live environments.
n
- Positive safety and company systems management skills.
n
n
