Do you love the buzz of major events and turning great campaigns into real ticket sales? We are looking for a driven and organised Ekka Marketing & Ticketing Coordinator to help grow attendance and revenue across some of Queensland's most iconic events, including the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) and Royal Queensland Awards (RQA).

Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you will help shape and deliver ticketing and sales strategies, manage group and reseller sales, and play a key role in the success of our event campaigns.

n

This is a permanent, full time role. You 'll be required in the office 5 days a week.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Support the development and delivery of ticketing and sales strategies to grow attendance and revenue
n
- Implement and manage event sales campaigns, including ticket builds, reseller agreements and promotions
n
- Oversee group, school and reseller ticket sales for Ekka and related events
n
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights to improve results
n
- Contribute to ticketing system improvements and sales process enhancements
n
- Assist with research, campaign collateral and marketing data preparation
n
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
n
- Identify new sales channels and opportunities to expand event reach
n
- Provide key operational and ticketing support in the lead up to and during Ekka
n

- Experience using online sales platforms and ticketing or booking systems (ZenDesk, Umbraco)
n
- Proven ability to drive ticket sales through digital channels
n
- Strong customer service experience and a commitment to delivering positive experiences
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
n
- Confidence working under pressure, particularly in the lead up to and during major events
n
