About The Chance
As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic based in our Muswellbrook Automotive Workshop, no two days will be the same as you become a key component in helping to provide quality and professional servicing, repairs and maintenance to our clients and customers.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Provide routine servicing on our customers heavy vehicles, as well as our own vehicles and small equipment
- Perform defect repair work on a variety of vehicles, including troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Accurate and timely completion of job cards and client specific paperwork, detailing repairs, servicing and defects
- Attend breakdowns and callouts in a timely manner
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to work health and safety standards
Skills And Experience
- Heavy vehicle mechanical trade (or similar)
- Heavy vehicle drivers licence (preferred but not essential)
- Heavy vehicle inspection tickets (preferred but not essential)
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Clear communication skills; both verbal and written
- The ability to work unsupervised and independently, as well as in a team
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
- A professional approach to their work
