Le Pas Sage is an award-winning French bar and restaurant in Adelaide, known for contemporary French food, an extensive beverage program and warm, professional table service.

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Worker to join our front-of-house team in a permanent full-time position.

The successful applicant will work across restaurant service, guest relations and food and beverage service and will play an important role in delivering the style of hospitality Le Pas Sage is known for.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include

- Welcoming guests and providing professional customer service
- Managing reservations and assisting with greeting and seating guests
- Presenting menus and beverage lists
- Setting, arranging and preparing restaurant tables
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders
- Serving food, wine and other beverages
- Providing guests with information about menu items and specials
- Recommending appropriate beverages and wines to complement meals
- Opening and pouring bottled beverages and wine
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages when required
- Processing guest payments using EFTPOS and point-of-sale systems
- Clearing and resetting tables throughout service
- Maintaining restaurant, bar and service areas to a high standard
- Restocking glassware, beverages and service equipment
- Assisting with functions and special events
- Following Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements
- Following workplace health and safety and food-safety procedures
- Working closely with kitchen,



bar and restaurant management to provide efficient service

About you We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience working in a restaurant, bar, hotel or comparable hospitality environment
- Has at least 12 months of relevant hospitality experience
- Has excellent customer-service and communication skills
- Is confident taking food and beverage orders
- Has good knowledge of restaurant service standards
- Has an interest in food, wine and spirits
- Can confidently interact with guests and make appropriate recommendations
- Is organised, reliable and able to work effectively during busy services
- Works well as part of a professional front-of-house team
- Has robust personal presentation and attention to detail
- Can work evenings, Fridays and Saturdays as part of a full-time roster
- Holds or is able to obtain a current South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification

Experience in a premium, European or French-style restaurant is highly regarded.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $84,000.00 per year
