About the Venue:

Overlooking West Lakes in Adelaide, The Lakes Resort Hotel is a busy multi-outlet hospitality destination with 72 accommodation rooms, restaurants, bars, gaming and function spaces. With a strong focus on guest experience and presentation, the hotel brings together accommodation, dining and entertainment all in one location.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on and reliable Housekeeping Supervisor, on a casual basis, to join our team at The Lakes Resort Hotel.

Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day housekeeping operation and support the team to ensure guest rooms and public areas are consistently clean, well presented and ready for guests.

This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced housekeeper looking to take the next step, or a current Housekeeping Supervisor looking for a casual role within a busy hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and support the housekeeping team during daily operations
- Lead by example to ensure rooms and public areas meet high cleanliness and presentation standards
- Assist with room allocations, daily priorities and room turnaround times
- Monitor the quality and presentation of completed rooms
- Support the Housekeeping Manager with the day-to-day operation of the department
- Assist with training and development of housekeeping team members
- Ensure linen, amenities and housekeeping supplies are adequately stocked
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Ensure housekeeping procedures,



hygiene standards and hotel policies are followed
- Work closely with Front Office and other departments to support smooth hotel operations

About You:

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is essential
- Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine pride in presentation standards
- Hands-on approach with the ability to lead and support a team
- Reliable, organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability across 7 days, particularly weekends
