Description

All Energy Contracting (AEC) is a leading construction contractor specialising in the energy and renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, storage, and hybrid facilities. Position Overview

We are looking for an engaging, proactive HSE Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working a 2:1 FIFO/DIDO roster.

The HSE Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld onsite in Maryborough, Queensland.

In this role, you will implement effective health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and fostering a culture of safety across all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Management of a small site based HSE team.
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.




- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Provide training and support to staff on health and safety practices.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organisation.
- Maintain accurate records of health and safety activities and incidents.
- Oversee HSE compliance as the principal contractor, liaise with internal construction management teams and subcontractor management.
- Daily interaction with the client and external stakeholders.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience within HSE, with prior experience in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Australian health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Experience within energy infrastructure, civil construction or heavy industry / high hazard environments is essential.
- Ability to develop and deliver training programmes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of HammerTech, Employment Hero and Dash Pivot is desirable
