Role Summary
We are seeking an HR Recruitment Officer to join a busy public sector Human Services team on a temporary contract. This is a broad HR generalist role covering recruitment processing, HR and payroll transactions, and SAP reconciliation work, offering genuine variety and the chance to build on your HR and payroll systems experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process recruitment actions, including preparing and placing job advertisements, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process HR and payroll transactions such as leave applications, background checks and medical requirements to agreed service standards.
- Complete and follow up SAP HR and payroll reconciliations, correcting transactions as required.
- Guide and support an HR Administrative Assistant and other team members to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and auditors.
Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated experience in HR administration, recruitment processing or payroll support, ideally within a government or large corporate setting.
- Working knowledge of SAP HR and payroll systems, or a similar large-scale HRIS.
- Sound understanding of HR and payroll policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactional processes accurately.
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Available to start immediately.
