- Casual position with immediate start
- $39.89 per hour plus penalty rates and allowances
- Monday to Friday roster with multiple shift times (must be flexible with hours)

About the Role
As a Medical Waste Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting medical waste from hospitals, clinics, aged care facilities, and healthcare providers throughout the region. This role involves both driving and hands-on labour, requiring a strong commitment to safety and physical fitness.
Your Duties Will Include:
- Safely collecting and transporting medical waste bins
- Loading and unloading bins from the vehicle
- Following designated delivery and collection routes
- Completing deliveries and collections on schedule
- Delivering exceptional customer service at each site
- Adhering to all site safety and compliance procedures
- Maintaining communication with dispatch and operations teams
- Completing required documentation and reporting requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current HR Licence (Automatic HR Licence accepted)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
- Capacity to lift, move, push and pull bins weighing up to 25kg
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Previous delivery driving experience highly regarded
- Understanding that this is a hands-on role involving both driving and manual labour
Desirable
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Waste industry, logistics, transport or delivery experience
- Healthcare or hazardous waste handling experience
Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to complete:
- National Police Check
- Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Hepatitis A & B Vaccinations
