WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
Enaex Australia is seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Advisor to join our team, based from our Perth office and supporting our operational requirements across Western Australia.
Reporting to the HSE Senior Advisor, you’ll partner closely with site and regional leaders to provide practical HSE advice, support compliance, conduct field audits, facilitate risk assessments, and help implement initiatives that strengthen safety performance across our operations.
This role is ideal for an HSE professional who enjoys getting out into the operation, building relationships with frontline teams and leaders, and turning safety systems into practical outcomes. You’ll bring a strong understanding of risk and compliance, backed by a genuine commitment to creating safe and healthy workplaces.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with regional and site teams to implement and monitor HSE initiatives and strengthen our Zero Harm culture.
- Provide practical HSE advice to support safe, healthy, compliant workplaces and operational decision-making.
- Conduct field audits to assess the effectiveness of safety and health management systems and identify improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate site-based risk assessments and review risk controls supporting operational and organisational change.
- Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and reporting, including the application of ICAM methodologies.
- Support workers' compensation and rehabilitation activities while promoting continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Ideally you will have;
- A relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, supported by practical HSE experience.
- Experience within mining, explosives, manufacturing, heavy industry, or another high-risk operational environment.
- Strong understanding of statutory requirements, operational safety standards, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience with audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and HSE reporting, with relevant qualifications highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with the confidence to work effectively with operational teams and leaders.
- Strong organisational, analytical,
and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
