This is an opportunity to join a growing specialist immigration firm offering up to 3 days working from home, visa sponsorship and the ability to work from overseas for approved periods.

You’ll join a close-knit team, have positive support around you and work across a broad mix of immigration matters without a rigid office culture.

Our client is a boutique immigration law firm advising individuals and businesses across a range of Australian migration matters.

The firm has a small legal team in Australia alongside experienced international support staff.

About the role The firm is looking for an Immigration Lawyer with approximately 3+ years' PQE and solid Australian immigration experience.You’ll manage your own matters while having dedicated legal support around you. The work will initially have a stronger individual migration focus, with the opportunity to build broader exposure across corporate immigration over time.

Duties

- Manage immigration matters from initial advice through to completion
- Advise on family and partner visas
- Handle student and graduate visa matters
- Work across general skilled migration
- Assist with appeals and reviews
- Gain exposure to employer-sponsored and corporate immigration matters




- Deal directly with a diverse international client base

Skills & experience

- Approximately 3+' PQE
- Strong Australian immigration law experience
- Confidence managing matters independently
- Strong client-facing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clear and practical communication style

Mandarin language skills are preferred due to the firm’s international client base. Cantonese would also be well regarded.

This is a flexible boutique environment.The team regularly gets together for lunches, social events and other activities, but there is no expectation to be in the office five days a week.The Principals take a practical approach to flexibility and are focused on quality of work, client service and people managing their responsibilities properly.

There is also scope to work from overseas for approved periods.
