Here at Masterpet, we have an exciting chance for an Inbound & Inventory Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, this newly created role will lead inbound logistics, receiving operations and inventory control across our Smeaton Grange Distribution Centre.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping how inbound and inventory operations are managed across the site. You'll lead a team focused on receiving, putaway, replenishment and inventory accuracy while partnering with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, Operations and Finance.
You'll also have the opportunity to influence future operational improvements, including enhanced RF scanning capability, process optimisation and upcoming systems initiatives.
This role is based full-time at our Smeaton Grange Distribution Centre due to the hands-on operational nature of the position. Occasional travel to other operational sites may be required.
What You Will Do:
- Inbound Operations: Lead inbound receiving, putaway, replenishment and inventory activities.
- Inventory Integrity: Ensure stock accuracy, availability and compliance across the distribution centre.
- People Leadership: Coach, develop and lead inventory and receiving teams.
- Inventory Control: Oversee stocktakes, cycle counts, slotting, master data, reconciliations and investigations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process, systems and operational improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate across Supply Chain, Operations and support functions to optimise performance.
What We Are Looking For:
You are a people-focused operational leader who enjoys improving processes, solving problems and building capable teams. You balance attention to detail with a practical approach and can confidently work across both operational and strategic priorities.
You bring strong inventory management experience and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to improve performance, simplify processes and deliver positive outcomes.
• Leadership: Experience leading warehouse, inventory, receiving or logistics teams.
- Inventory Management: Strong inventory control experience, including stock investigations, cycle counting, stocktakes and reconciliations.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience working with WMS, ERP and RF technology platforms.
• Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify opportunities and drive operational improvements.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
