A Grade Industrial Electrician

Automated Control Systems (ACS) is seeking a qualified A Grade Electrician to join our growing team working across the industrial and manufacturing sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who wants more than just installation work. Our projects range from straightforward electrical installations and preventative maintenance through to complex industrial automation, machinery, instrumentation and engineering projects within factories and manufacturing facilities.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include

Carrying out electrical installation, preventative maintenance and project work across industrial and manufacturing sites.

Repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.

Responding to machinery breakdowns and client call-outs in a professional and timely manner.

Using effective fault-finding and diagnostic techniques to identify electrical and equipment faults.

Recommending and implementing appropriate corrective actions and repairs.

Working on projects involving industrial electrical systems, machinery, controls and automation.

Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications, applicable Australian Standards and OH&S; requirements.

Working independently as required while also collaborating with other trades, technicians, engineers and project personnel.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

A current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence.

A current Victorian Driver Licence.





Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

The ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision.

A sound understanding of OH&S; requirements and secure work practices.

Good communication skills and a professional approach when working with clients.

Experience with electrical and mechanical installations in manufacturing or industrial environments will be highly regarded.

Knowledge or experience in instrumentation, industrial controls, PLCs or automation is also advantageous; however, ACS is prepared to provide further training and development for the right candidate.
