The Role:
To provide excellent customer service to clients and work effectively with the external sales team to maximise sales opportunities.
The main function of the internal sales position is to receive and prioritise inbound phone calls & emails from clients and external sales team members. Generate and follow up on quotations, invoice goods and order parts from various suppliers.
What we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an industrial sales role. Alternatively, experience in new or spare part sales where some technical knowledge is required (hoses, fasteners, electric motors, process components etc) would be preferrable, but not essential.
Our clients rely heavily on our established record of high-quality before and after sales service. We assist our clients to source various industrial components The ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines is a must; as is being a friendly, effective communicator.
A personable attitude is essential to being part of our supportive team. Somebody looking for a long-term position with a loyal employer.
This role is particularly suited to somebody with high attention to detail that enjoys providing quality service. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to get out of a warehousing / store persons role and transition into a sales position.
What we offer:
Secure, employment with VERY low turnover of staff.
Generous remuneration package $70-$75k neg(depending on skillset) + Super + Bonuses. Paid weekly or fortnightly by agreement.
Regular office hours, 8-5 Monday to Friday, no weekend or A/H work.
