If you know how to look after customers, communicate confidently and get things done, we can teach you the products. M&B; Mitre 10 is looking for a Internal Sales & Customer Service Team Member to join our Albany branch.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys dealing with people and wants to develop their skills within the building and trade supply industry.

You’ll work with a mix of local builders, tradespeople, contractors and homeowners, helping them find the right products, preparing quotes, processing orders and making sure they receive the level of service M&B; is known for.

You don't need to come from the building industry. What matters most is your attitude, professionalism, willingness to learn and ability to build genuine relationships with customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Albany team, you'll be responsible for:

- Looking after trade and retail customers in person, over the phone and via email
- Understanding what customers need and helping them find the right solution
- Preparing quotes and processing customer orders accurately
- Providing product information and recommendations
- Following up quotes, orders and customer enquiries
- Building strong relationships with regular trade customers
- Developing your knowledge across timber, doors, hardware,



decking and other building products
- Working closely with sales, warehouse and despatch to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Taking ownership of customer enquiries through to resolution

What We’re Looking For We're looking for someone who is skilled, switched on and genuinely enjoys dealing with people.

You'll ideally bring

- Strong customer service experience
- Confident verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to quickly build rapport with different types of customers
- Strong attention to detail when preparing quotes and processing orders
- Confidence using computer systems and learning recent processes
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
- Reliability and a genuine team-first attitude
- An interest in developing your sales and commercial skills

Experience in building supplies, hardware, timber, construction, trade sales or similar would be highly regarded, but it isn't essential. If you've built strong customer service skills in another industry and are ready for your next opportunity, we'd still like to hear from you.
