Role: Java Architect

Location: Perth, WA

Duration: 6 months

Java Architect –

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Define scalable, secure, and high-performance solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Drive application modernization initiatives using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Design and govern REST APIs, integration frameworks, and event-driven architectures.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams and enforce architecture best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate requirements into solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, reliability, and availability standards.
- Lead cloud-native solution design using Azure/AWS and container platforms such as Kubernetes.




- Support DevOps adoption, CI/CD implementation, and deployment automation.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical governance sessions.
- Provide effort estimations, technical proposals, and solution support for RFPs and pre-sales initiatives.
- Mentor architects, developers, and technical leads across multiple projects.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud, API Management, Integration, DevOps, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Utilities and Energy domain experience is preferred
