Role Description This part-time Junior/Graduate Accountant role is an in office position based in Hurstville Grove, NSW. The role involves assisting with data entry for bookkeeping and accounting systems, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting the preparation of tax returns under supervision.

Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, organizing source documents, updating client records, and maintaining accurate files. The Junior/Graduate Accountant will help with general administrative tasks related to client engagements, respond to client information requests,



and collaborate with senior accountants to ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax standards. The position is designed to provide structured learning and practical exposure to public practice accounting.

Qualifications

- Foundational accounting knowledge, including understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, financial statements, and basic tax concepts.
- Proficiency with accounting and office software (e.g., Excel, cloud-based accounting systems, document management tools).
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to follow established processes and compliance requirements.
